Driving out Prostate Cancer: Capstone
After his father was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 2010, Christopher Alfano knew that he had to raise awareness for the disease. By combining his passion for golf and his desire to spread the word, he created, Driving out Prostate Cancer, a golf tournament where a group of five friends teamed up and competed against eight other teams. Gone to the Theatre: Capstone Project
“Gone to the Theater!”, a program working in support of performing arts education was held at Independence Golf Club on October 21, 2018. The event was from 1-5 pm, and was filled with performances from James River High School students, along with other performing arts students in the community. As a fundraising program led by Madison Windsor, students worked in support of the Theatre Department at JRHS. With admissions and donations, all proceeds are going towards an effort
