

Capstone Project: Brain Day
On January 16th, 2015, Rumeesa Rais conducted her Capstone, Brain Day. Brain Day was located at Crestwood Elementary and included Mrs. Guarnera's third grade class. On this day, there were several stations, such as Building A Neuron, Make A Clay Brain, and Build A Thinking Cap. Each station focused on activities that directly related to neuroscience. World Mural
To represent the international relations aspect of the center, Leadership students Gillian Gaunt (as pictured), Paige Kobza, and Sarah Morgan are painting a mural of the world. The mural is located in Mr. Hannum's room, where he teaches his freshman World One course. Each country is represented by its flag, making this mural extremely detailed and colorful. The girls have been working very hard and are almost finished with their masterpiece!


Capstone Project: Father/Daughter Dance
On March 20, 2015 the first He’s My Date Father Daughter Dance took place at James River High School. This event was created by Jalah Townsend, a senior in the Center for Leadership and International Relations at James River High School.
