Senor Snow Ball: Capstone Project

On Saturday, January 19, Allison Landergan hosted a dance at James River High School called the Senior Snow Ball. This event was for residents of Senior Living facilities around Midlothian. It was a great turn-out with guests attending from Morningside, Sunrise, Heritage Oaks, The Virginian, and from around the community. While at the Senior Snow Ball, guests had the opportunity to paint and decorate picture frames, have their picture taken against a festive photo backdrop, socialize with student volunteers, and enjoy a wide variety of appetizers and desserts. Music was provided by Fantasia Sound DJ Company, and their wide variety of hits and crowd favorites got many up from their seat to “cut a rug.

” Overall, the Senior Snow Ball was a great opportunity for these Seniors to enjoy an entertaining afternoon out from their facility, and to interact with James River students and other adults.
